Children of Conflict
Hello! I wanted to let you know about Children of Conflict an international project linking students in America, Kosova and Rwanda with the goal of creating a multi-media theatrical piece from the exchange. Florida Stage, with help from ASSITEJ International and Epicentre’s own Ivica Simic, has begun a conversation among students at Florida’s G-STAR School of the Arts, Kosova’s Center for Children’s Theatre Development and Rwanda’s Mashirika Creative and Performing Arts Group about their experiences growing up in their respective regions. The conversation is visible to the public on the project’s Google Group website
http://groups.google.com/group/children-of-conflict.
Additional information about the project and participating organizations can be found at

The multi-media aspect of the project has been central to the exchange. The students at G-STAR have been creating projects based on themes like “Heroes” and “Humanity” and we’ve been posting them on the internet for the students to discuss. Here are the videos of the projects on “Humanity” by G-STAR students
