IPAY Showcase

the most important booking conference for performances for children and young people in North America, will be held January 23-26, 2008, in Tampa, Florida.

The Showcase is one of the primary focuses of IPAY, International Performing Arts for Youth, a not-for-profit international membership organization dedicated to the creation of professional and educational opportunities supporting meaningful performing arts experiences for young audiences in North America.

Throughout the four-day event, professionals share resources and view juried performances by outstanding international performing artists.

An exhibit area provides display information and video material on touring productions. As a professional development service, the conference offers a series of events on current issues and trends in the field.

IPAY, whose members tend to be festival directors, agents, managers, and presenters, works closely and in collaboration with ASSITEJ/USA, whose members tend to be producing theater companies, though many practitioners are members of both organizations.

IPAY Showcase 2008 is hosted by the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center in Tampa, FL. This year's event has attracted more than 400 artists, agents and presenters.
